My research experience is focused to the field of Environmental Sciences, particularly in the relationship between the physical and biological components of natural and anthropized ecosystems and the human activities from a multi and transdisciplinary perspective. In particular, my lines of research are based on the study of these relationships in wetland ecosystems at multiple spatial and temporal scales. I am interested in analyzing how productive activities affect the ecological integrity of these ecosystems and their ability to provide goods and services to society.
