Paula is a biologist (UNLu) with a specialization in Ecology. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Environmental Sciences at IIIA-UNSAM-CONICET, where she studies the resilience of wetlands in the Bajíos Ribereños of the Paraná River to disturbances such as fire and grazing.
Her expertise includes the study of beetle communities of the families Carabidae and Aphodiidae, the successional recovery of vegetation, and carbon dynamics in ecosystems.

Research topics
Study of the recovery of the wetlands in the Bajíos Ribereños of the Paraná River in response to fire and grazing, through the assessment of the temporal recovery of soil beetle communities, plant communities, soil carbon stock dynamics, and CO₂ emissions.
