Professional resume + Expertise
She is an expert in ecotoxicology and the toxicity assessment of different matrices (environmental samples, substances for industrial use, agrochemicals) through standardized laboratory bioassays. Currently, she manages a research project to evaluate the toxicity of nanomaterials and their impact on the environment. She is also interested in environmental education and she has also participated in articulation projects between the middle school and the university.
She is an independent researcher of the CONICET in the Institute of Research and Environmental Engineering (3iA), where she also works as a teacher. Previously, she coordinated the area of environmental analysis of the School of Science and Technology and was the academic secretary of 3iA.
She published more than ninety articles in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and book chapters. She has also participated in numerous national and international scientific congresses and has directed various thesis at undergraduate and doctoral levels.
She holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires.
