Victoria Passucci held a bachelor's degree in Environmental Technology in 2017, at Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Tandil, Argentina. She has been doing her PhD since 2018, at Instituto de Investigación e Ingeniería Ambiental (3ia) and her directors are Dra. María Mar Areco y Dr. Gustavo Curutchet. She is working in the study of microalgae isolated from the Reconquista River, to be used in the bioremediation of heavy metals in acid effluents and the production of metabolites of commercial interest during this bioremediation processes, such as lipids and proteins.
