Carolina Aronzon has a phD degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She specializes in ecotoxicology and evaluates the toxicity of different matrices (environmental samples, industrial substances, agrochemicals, mixtures) by means of standardized laboratory bioassays and biomarkers (oxidative stress, genotoxicity, neurotoxicity and others). She is currently working on the integrated analysis of physicochemical and ecotoxicological parameters for the diagnosis of surface water quality. She is a researcher at CONICET and a professor at 3iA-UNSAM since 2018.

By 2020, she has directed undergraduate and doctoral theses. Also, she is the author of 15 publications in international scientific peer review journals and has presented more than 50 studies at national and international conferences
